Emmanouil Alexakis is graduate of the School of Applied Mathematics and Physics, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with major in optoelectronics and advanced materials, with postgraduate studies in: a) MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Technical University of Delft, Netherlands, b) MSc in Monument Protection: Conservation interventions – techniques and materials, School of Architecture, NTUA and c) MSc in Information Systems and Services: Big Data and Analytics, Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. In addition, he is enrolled as a PhD candidate in the Laboratory of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA, and works as a Research Associate mainly in several EU Research and secondarily in NSRF projects with plenty of research publications. His research interests concern the assessment and monitoring of the monument preservation state with the use of non-destructive and analytical methods and the integration and analysis of multidimensional data using machine learning approaches.
