Dimosthenis Kyriazis received his diploma from the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2001 and his MSc degree in “Techno-economics” in 2004. Since 2007, he holds a PhD in the area of Service Oriented Architectures with a focus on quality aspects and workflow management from the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of NTUA.

Christos Doulkeridis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. from AUEB (2007, 2003) and an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from NTUA (2001). He has been awarded Marie-Curie and ERCIM fellowships and won multiple research awards, including best paper and competition recognitions. He has led several research projects, including CloudIX, RoadRunner, CHOROLOGOS, and MobiSpaces (Horizon Europe). His research focuses on Big Data, cloud data management, distributed knowledge discovery, and web & spatial databases. He has published in top journals and conferences, including VLDB, IEEE TKDE, ACM SIGMOD, and ICDE.

Maria Halkidi is a Professor at the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. She earned her Informatics degree from the University of Piraeus (1997) and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. from AUEB (1999, 2003). She has conducted research at AUEB and UC Riverside as an EU-funded Marie-Curie fellow. Her interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Web & Database management.
